For logistics and transport companies

Logistics and freight tenders in the Nordics and the Baltics

Freight, warehousing, courier and vehicle tenders across the Nordics, the Baltics, Germany and Poland are both direct business and a sign of where the market is moving. MarketScope collects these tenders and their winners from TED, Doffin, Hilma and the German portal, and follows new logistics centres, the haulage market and regulation.

What we monitor

For a logistics company, freight tenders are only part of the picture. A new distribution centre, a port expansion or a retailer's new warehouse means new freight flows, and a contract won by a competitor can mean a subcontracting opportunity. The pack brings both kinds of signal into one place.

Freight and logistics services

Road, rail, air and water freight (CPV 601, 602, 604, 606), cargo handling and storage (631), forwarding (6352) and courier services (6412). Passenger transport codes are excluded.

Vehicles and equipment

Trucks and goods vehicles (CPV 3413), cars (3411), buses (3412), trailers and semi-trailers (3422), forklifts and warehouse equipment (42415).

Logistics centres and infrastructure

News on new warehouses and logistics centres, railways, ports, Rail Baltica and air cargo from The Loadstar, Railway Gazette, LOGISTIK HEUTE, Dagens Logistik and other sources.

Competitors and the market

Girteka, DSV, DB Schenker, Kuehne+Nagel, DHL, PostNord, Posti, Raben, Dachser, Hegelmann and others – 22 carriers and logistics firms in the radar, alongside fuel price, road charge and regulation news.

The ready-made logistics and transport pack

The pack runs eight procurement feeds: TED tenders and awards for the Nordics and the Baltics, a separate TED query for freight, warehousing and trucks in Germany and Poland, and Doffin, Hilma and oeffentlichevergabe.de notices. For news it uses 19 sources in eight languages, Latvian and Estonian included: Lastebil.no, Transportarbetaren, MM Logistik, Logistics Manager and Google News queries on carriers and logistics centres in each country.

Six rules separate transport and haulage tenders, warehouses and logistics centres, vehicles and fleets, railways, ports and air cargo, competitors, and fuel prices, road charges and regulation. Scoring reads the CPV code to place each notice in one of 16 groups, ranks Lithuania first and the Nordics and Germany equally.

Countries and sources

Procurement sources: Norway via Doffin and TED, Finland via Hilma and TED, and Germany via oeffentlichevergabe.de and TED. Notices from Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia come through TED. For Germany and Poland the pack uses a narrower list of CPV codes, so the feed stays relevant. Winners in Norway, Finland and Denmark are enriched with data from the official company registers. See how monitoring works country by country on the public tenders page.
